From Microsoft:
"Microsoft Word Online lets you make basic edits and formatting changes to your document in a web browser. For more advanced features, use Word Online’s Open in Word command. When you save the document in Word, it is saved on the website where you opened it in Word Online.
"The document you open in Word Online is the same as the document you open in the Word desktop app, but some features work differently in the two environments."
This means that when working online in the browser version, Word does not support our software, while operating in the “normal” version of Word for Windows 365 does. That is why Word offers the “Open in Word” option, so that users can access Word’s more advanced functions. If you prefer operating the simplified version of Word in a browser environment, we can’t help.
