Doxserá® DB takes intelligent document automation to the next level by enabling integration with Outlook Contacts, alongside Excel workbooks, Access, and SQL databases. This allows users, such as law firms, insurance companies, venture capitalists, and other knowledge workers, to seamlessly leverage existing contact data for personalized document generation.

In this demonstration, we’ll explore how Doxserá® DB enhances functionality by directly pulling contact information from Outlook Contacts into your forms.

First, as the form author, you have the option to add a Smart Answer with a dropdown list sourced from Outlook Contacts. This feature allows the form user to easily select a contact from their Outlook, which can pull data from default or additional contact folders. If users store contacts in shared folders, network drives, or even the cloud, they can access and include them in this dropdown by simply adding the folders via the new interface.

For users with large contact folders, Doxserá® DB offers a powerful filtering tool, allowing them to narrow their choices efficiently. For example, instead of loading thousands of contacts, users can filter by last name or category. This reduces loading times and ensures quick and easy selection, even from extensive contact lists.

Next, we demonstrate how users can select multiple contacts using a checkbox feature, which allows for batch selections. This is particularly useful when generating multiple letters or reports.

In the form itself, users can insert contact information such as full names, addresses, or phone numbers. The system provides access to all the available fields from Outlook, ensuring accurate and fully populated forms. Additionally, Doxserá® DB maintains flexibility, allowing users to create lists or reference multiple contacts within a document.

Finally, Doxserá® DB offers customization for performance by letting users set a threshold that determines when an Outlook folder is considered large, further optimizing how the interface behaves with small and large folders.

The overall message: you already know how to use it! Doxserá® DB retains the ease of use and functionality of its predecessors while introducing this powerful new integration with Outlook Contacts, making document automation even more flexible and efficient.
